The purpose of the festival is to promote contact and the exchange of experience and ideas between cinematographers of different countries who demonstrate in their work the themes of goodness, spirituality, justice, and peace. The International Festival "MESSAGE TO MAN" is registered by the FIAPF, Paris. The festival program also includes an international amateur competition, a national competition for Documentary films of Russia, along with other special programs.
