The exhibition of Say Tvombly’s works, that will be opened in The State Hermitage in July 2003, demonstrate the readiness of the museum to organise new projects - the exhibitions of the XX century’s art.

The exhibition of the works of Say Tvombly relates to them. He is one of the greatest contemporary American painters. After the finishing this exhibition will move to the picture gallery of Munih (October - November 2003), then to the Pompidou Centre in Paris (January-March 2004) and at the end to the Serpentine’s gallery in London (April - June 2004).The organiser of this exhibition is Julia Silvester, a curator of the contemporary art of The State Hermitage.
