The country exported USD 1.8 million worth of goods to St. Petersburg - mainly ferrous metals and aluminium. Imports from St. Petersburg were worth USD 28.5 million - mainly equipment for nuclear reactors, grain, and tobacco. Thailand receives 2,500 tourists from St. Petersburg each year.
