300 cedars will be planted in Pulkovo Park on May 23, 2003

18 cedars were brought from Novosibirsk to St Petersburg two days ago on the planes of Pulkovo Airlines company, which transported presented cedars absolutely for free. Other 282 cedars will be transported also by Pulkovo Airlines on the same conditions on May 22

The cedars will be planted in the alley of Pulkovo Park, specially prepared for this purpose. M.I.Lapshin, the head of the Altai Republic, would arrive in the city to present the gift and to plant the first cedar personally. V.A.Yakovlev, St. Petersburg governor, and V.I.Matvienko, presidential representative in the North-West, are invited to the cedar planting ceremony.
