The St. Petersburg company Khlebnoye plans to invest $ 1.5m into building of a small plant to produce national drinks – mead, cider and others. At present the company is looking for a suitable building site and finishes investment planning. The project is financed by company's funds, investors' capital, and maybe bank loans.

Recoupment of the project is estimated to be about 3 years. The plant will start production by February 2003. Production capacity is to be 10-15 tons of mead per day. Cider and other drinks have not been evaluated yet.
