On Monday in St. Petersburg the international Russian - Swedish conference on questions of the notification and the prevention of emergencies at a local level is opened.

In the All-Russia centre of emergency and radiating medicine on the basis of which a forum will pass, except for the Russian and Swedish sides in conference the representative of Programs of the United Nations on questions of preservation of the environment Friz Balkau, and also representatives of Finland will take part.

The deputy of head of department Jury Brazhnikov will head the delegation of the Ministry of Emergency of Russia, the assistant of the General director of the Swedish agency of saving service Lars Hederstrem will head the Swedish delegation and the delegation of Finland will be led by the adviser of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of country Timo Viitanen.

Chiefs of central administrative boards on affairs of the Civil Defence and Emergencies of subjects of Federation of Northwest federal region also will participate in conference.
