Terms of making request for participation in the competition of goods and services "Made in St. Petersburg" are prolonged till February, 15, 2003. According to the vice-governor and co-chairman of the contest Sergey Vetlugin, "Made in St. Petersburg" is dated for 300-anniversary of the city and is called to promote improvement of quality and competitiveness of goods and services of the Petersburg enterprises. Further it will be carried out annually.

For today more than 50 enterprises and the organizations of the city made request for participation, and prolongation of terms will allow to enlist in the contest more enterprises of our city. The primary intent of the competition is attraction of a maximum quantity of manufacturers of goods, works and services for receiving the objective information on their achievements in the field of quality and safety of production (works, services), and also their promotions on the regional and international markets.

Winners receive the right to use an emblem of the Competition and the right on the publication in the official catalogue "Made in St. Petersburg": goods and services of 2003".
