There are now two million subscribers to Megafon in the North-West Federal District of Russia. This marks an increase of 33% in the number of subscribers over the last six months.

Megafon is a national operator of GSM 900/1800 standard mobile phones. The company is licensed to operate in the whole of Russia including all 89 subjects of the Russian Federation. The total number of subscribers currently exceeds 4 million.
