Books and icons returned to the Church.The Territorial Administration of Cultural Values Preservation have transferred books and icons confiscated by customs officers at different time to the St. Petersburg Religious Academy.
“Book About Fasting” by the saint Vasily the Great published in 1594, “Guide for rural pastors” (1863), book of “Pious Works of Reverend Efrem Sirin” (1856) in the original binding and with the autograph, as well as an icon of Archangel Mikhail of a “provincial naive painting” (XVIII century) are among the rarities, which will be stored in the religious archeological museum of the Academy.
