Annual summit of presidents of all countries in 2003 may be held in St. Petersburg

This idea was announced at the meeting of the State Committee of preparation for the forthcoming jubilees of St. Petersburg and Kazan held on February 6.

President Vladimir Putin considers this event could be both a business meeting with signing a number of relevant protocols and participation of presidents of all countries in celebration of St. Petersburg’s three-hundredth anniversary. Governor Vladimir Yakovlev believes this event will affect celebration of the jubilee in no way.
