The Hermitage is going to celebrate the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg quite specially – by a shock work. During days of celebration one of the world’s greatest museums will work non-stop, 24 hours a day.
Besides round-the-clock access to museum’s riches, public will be allowed to watch documentary and feature films blending with Hermitage’s interiors and listen to live classical music. The solemnity of the atmosphere will be strengthened by opening of the front entrance, the one by the Alexander Column.
