The exhibition “Two Centuries of Pavlovsky Posad Shawls for the St. Petersburg’s Jubilee” has been opened in the Gardeners’ House (Fontanka Embankment, 78).

The history of the enterprise goes back to the end of 18th century, to the silk factory of Ivan Labsin, a peasant of Pavlovo village. Now the company has become famous not only in Russia, but also abroad, producing 200 types of shawls and scarves of natural fibres: wool, cotton, silk. Pavlovsky Posad Shawl Manufacture is recognized to be company representing Russian national craft.
