The traditional Women’s day, the 8th of March as it is called in Russia, adds a lot of fuss in men’s world – everybody is hurrying to buy flowers for the sweetheart or female colleagues.

The history of the day goes back to the ancient Rome, where free women received presents, care and love from their husbands. Then in 1910, when women decided to fight for equality of rights with men, the Day of International Women Solidarity was announced.
