Last week the first deputy chairman of the Commitee-300 D.V. Mashkovzev met with an executive of the Interactive Institute in Umeo Robin Iohansson. Iohansson comes to St. Petersburg for the third time to discuss the project “Culture Simulator” dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the North Capital. The project is backed by the Swedish government ($2m).
The idea is to create cyberspace of the Peter-and-Paul Fortress, where everyone interested could familiarize himself with history and architecture of this unique museum. The Peter-and-Paul Fortress is not an accidental choice: 300 years ago Peter I built it for defence from Swedes, and now due to this joint project the fortress will become a bright example of warm relations between Russia and Sweden. The Swedish party will create cyberspace and deliver special equipment, Russia will provide historic and cultural dataware.
