The museum will appear in the summer residence of the famous Russian ballerina Matilda Kshesinskaya, which is situated in Strelna palace and park complex. At present the residence requires restoration, but it will be finished by the 300th anniversary of the North Capital. Besides, the famous wooden House of Peter I will be restored and the cathedral revived (in this cathedral Peter I married Catherine I). By now only the foundation of this church has remained as it burned out in 1942. Also a museum exposition telling us about the history of Strelna palace and park complex will be arranged in the Konstantinovsky Palace, which in 2003 becomes the “Congress Palace” – a place for conferences and forums.
