The first stage comprises building of the Japanese House (Konjushennaya str., 7) – a hotel attached to a business centre. The construction is supposed to be finished by summer 2003.
The financing is performed by Russian-Japan fund Yamato. 80% is provided by Russian investors. Japanese party is represented by Keydanren, the largest association in Japan with 1000 companies-members.
Japanese street will be located between Bolshaya Konjushennaya str., 7 and Moyka Embankment 16-17 and will comprise a hotel complex of medium class, 10 restaurants and a cafe of Japanese cuisine, a shopping centre, business centre, exhibition hall, tourist informational centre, centre of Japanese medicine and Japanese winter garden.
The centre is mostly intended for the Japanese who feature collectivism that should be counted with.
