Yesterday, May 20, nine new vessels, which will operate in Petersburg rivers and channels, were launched at the shipyard Spetstrans.
Among them there are four dumb lighters (displacement 31 tons), four small non-self-propelled lighters (displacement 5.3 tons, draught 25 cm) and a multipurpose small-sized machine UMOK-1. Besides the yard held a presentation of a new self-propelled dredge. This new fleet was specially designed for operation in St. Petersburg rivers and channels, taking their small depth into consideration. By the 300th anniversary of the city all rivers and channels must be in order. | |
