The second international Petersburg carnival dedicated to the city’s birthday was held in the North Capital last Sunday.

The main stage was placed near Gostiny Dvor. Here the ceremony of transferring the power to the Carnival Government was held. Traditionally the Governor’s tie, a symbol of bureaucratic power, was cut. Then columns of carnival participators moved along city streets.
