Today in Sestrorezk (suburb of Saint-Petersburg) opening of restored Church of the Sacred Great martyr and Healer Pantelejmon is held.

Constructed in 1906, the building of church in 1937 has ceased to exist as a temple. The club, then court NKVD were placed here, also in a churchyard shooted prisoners were buried (the communal grave was kept). In 90s church was returned to the believers.

Restoration of a building began in April of this year. Students building group from Army-Medical Academy active took part in it. Welfare fund "Orthodoxy" became the organizer of restoration works.
