Works on reconstruction of Alexandrovsky garden were begun in June, 2001. The reconstruction of a fence near Admiraltejsky thoroughfare from the Palace square up to the Admiralttejskaja quay, arrangement of a rosary with two decorative pools, placing of small architectural forms: urns, benches, a construction of a children's playground were planned.
Works on gardening included planting trees and bushes, laying out lawns and flower beds on the areas in 59,7 thousand sq. m, placing of avenues and pathes with a special covering - 24,8 thousand sq.m. In the garden felling of trees - threats was made, pathes were planned, the vegetative ground for lawns and flower beds was delivered, the bases for the fence were made, links and gates of a metal fence were restored , the water drain was laid. The result of all this great work visitors can see already tomorow.
