"Gorelektrotrans" has presented the project of reconstruction of the tram line in the Prospect of Education on which it is planned to start a high-speed tram. This city highway connects vast housing estates to underground stations “Civil prospect” and “Prospect of Education”, therefore the problem of improvement of transport work here is more than actual. Works will begin in the near future. Their total cost will make 122 million roubles. Ways first of all will be put in order, then they will be enclosed with a special fence. Besides traffic lights will be reconstructed - driving to crossroads, a tram which speed will reach 80 kilometers an hour, will automatically switch on green light.
