Measures against autoowners-disturbers will be toughened

September, 19 the 5-th International scientific-practical conference "Organization and safety of traffic in large cities" has beginned its work. Making a speech on a briefing devoted to its opening, governor Vladimir Jakovlev has declared, that there are two ways of the decision of the problem about safety of pedestrians and autoowners. The first is construction and reconstruction of roads, outcomes, viaducts. In connection with it the governor has noticed, that in St. Petersburg annually asphalt is put on the area of 4-5 million sq. meters, but needs of city are about in 10 times more. The second way, in V.Jakovlev's opinion, - toughening of laws towards to autoowners-disturbers of traffic regulations. In this connection he has supported acceptance of the law about evacuation of wrongly parked cars.
