The best project of the memorial to seamen of atomic-powered vessel "Kursk" in Saint Petersburg will be determined November, 15.

Competition was announced in the middle of August, and the winner will be named November, 15. On conditions of competition in structure of the memorial should consist of a platform with burial places of submariners and general memorial stele with names of all of 118 members of submarine crew, losted in August, 2000. All composition should be in uniform style and scale. For winners of competition premiums are founded: the first - at a rate of 30 thousand roubles, the second - at a rate of 20 thousand roubles and the third - at a rate of 10 thousand roubles. The exhibition of the projects accepted to consideration will open November, 5 in halls of the Union of architects and will last till November, 15.
