St. Petersburg's Airports to work flat out during 300th anniversary celebrations

St. Petersburg's Airports to work flat out during 300th anniversary celebrations St. Petersburg's airports will work according to a special timetable during the city's 300th anniversary celebrations. This was announced yesterday at the Brusnichnoye crossing on the Russian-Finnish border by Konstantin Totsky, the director of the Russian Federal Border Guards. According to Totsky, the heads of 40 countries are expected to come to St. Petersburg for the anniversary along with their official delegations. In addition, around 3,500 foreign journalists have been received official accreditation for the jubilee. During the anniversary celebrations planes carrying official delegations will land every 7-10 minutes. This will greatly increase the workload of border guards. On these days regular flights will most likely be cancelled. However, no special measures are planned to be introduced at other border points.
