A three-day forum of the Worldwide Club of St. Petersburgers has begun today in Berlin. The club was founded two years ago on the initiative of several emigre organisations in the US, Germany and Israel, and unites former residents of St. Petersburg who have settled around the globe. The forum participants were welcomed on behalf of the Berlin city administration by Mayor Klaus Wowereit. The forum is being attended by many well-known cultural, political and business figures from around the globe.
