A fire fighting competition is to take place in Saint Petersburg. According to Alexander Chuprian, acting director of the state fire fighting department, the first ever European competition among fire fighters will take place at the central fire fighting complex in Saint Petersburg on June 28. Firemen from England, Belarus, Italy, Finland and several CIS countries have all expressed their willingness to participate. Mr Chuprian said the complex is one of the best in Europe.
