The fourth international exhibition "Architecture. Town planning. Restoration" opens in Saint Petersburg today. The event is being organised by the RESTEK exhibition union (Germany).
Two different schools of restoration and town planning are being exhibited: Russian and European. The main themes will be: general plans for the development of towns and villages; landscape architecture; restoration of town buildings and monuments; property and investment; insurance in the construction industry. Separate exhibitions will concern the restoration of temples, cathedrals and churches; the restoration of paintings and interiors.
Participants and guests at the exhibition will also take part in the conference "Maintenance and development of historic cities", "Prospects for the further development of Saint Petersburg" as well as other round-table discussions.
The exhibition will close on June 19.
