Today the III International Philharmonic Festival “Arts Square” opens in the Big Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. The first two ones were embodiment of Yury Termicanov and Irina Rodionova's (Philharmonic manager) idea to invite Arts Square guests (versed visitors of the Russian Museum, the Small Opera Theatre, the Theatre of Musical Comedy, rich tourists of the Grad-Hotel Europe) to celebrate the New Year in the Russian North Capital and please them with world's classical music. This year the festival has become more “democratic” – its program comprises ballet and variety art performances (“Terem-Quartet” performance, the night of the ballerina Anastasia Volochkova).
