The first poem was printed in Russia 190 years ago.

One copy of the poetical greeting to Peter I was printed on January 9, 1712, in the first St. Petersburg printing-house (it was located on the Petersburg Side, in the house of its director M.P. Avramov). The author of the poem was Avramov. Historians consider this work to be the first Russian printed poetical text.
