From October, 1 till October, 8 in the St.-Petersburg state conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov the festival "International week of conservatories" will be held.

This musical forum which doesn’t have analogues in the world, again will unit on the Petersburg stage representatives of the higher musical schools of Russia, Europe and America. The basic idea of festival - to show to filarmonics and musicians-professionals not only achievements of talented young and already known performers, but, first of all, to present original character of their musical schools.

Each musical school invited to festival, has an opportunity in the framework of the concert program, during lectures, seminars and master-classes to create a volumetric image of itself.
