In city on Neva the CD "Historical organ of Saint Petersburg" with sounding of the unique organ of the Petersburg Capella is issued.
The compact disc is issued on means of private international funds in circulation of 500 copies. The most part of release will be used for advertising the Dutch private Fund on reconstruction of the Capella’s organ. About 100 copies will stay in Russia.
According to the president of the International centre of Russian musical culture Vladimir Shljapnikov, one of great aims of the edition is to try to attract attention to a hard technical condition of the Capella’s organ - the unique historical musical instrument of Russia and to keep unique "voice" of the monument of the European culture. For connoisseurs of the organ music it will be interesting to listen to rich expressive opportunities of the Capella’s organ at performance of different music styles - baroque, romanticism, XX century, Vladimir Shljapnicov considers.
