On Tuesday, December, 17, in the Petersburg State museum of political history of Russia the exhibition, devoted to 80-anniversary of formation of the Union of the Soviet socialist republics, will open. The exposition will begin work before December, 30 - in this day, 80 years ago, on the First All-Union congress of Soviets the decision on formation of the USSR was made.

The exhibits placed in show-windows will tell about the beginning of formation of the Soviet Country. Visitors will see the Declaration on formation of the USSR, the shorthand notes of the speeches of participants of the First All-Union congress of Soviets, membership cards and photos of participants. The edition of the Constitution of the RSFSR (1918) and the Declaration of rights of working and maintained people with which Vladimir Lenin has made a speech at III congress of Soviets of the RSFSR will be presented.

Among exhibits of the anniversary exhibition - projects of the State Emblem of the Soviet Union not shown earlier. An exposition devoted to birth of the USSR, is supplemented with posters of 20th years of the last century, propagandizing friendship of peoples.
