The exhibition, to run August 11 to September 11 at the Benois Wing of St. Petersburg's Russian Museum, will feature 188 paintings, watercolors, and drawings from the Central State Archive of Art and Literature - the world's largest repository of pictorial art, music, film, drama, and literature.
Among the highlights of the exhibition are art albums compiled by avant-garde poet Alexei Kruchenykh, who brought together works by his artist friends, such as Kazimir Malevich and Vladimir Mayakovsky, adding his own literary commentary.
