By the initiative of Germany a guide book telling about St. Petersburg and Hamburg will see the light, with the information about St. Petersburg in German language and about Hamburg -- in Russian.
In addition, specially for the city’s Tercentenary the German party is planning to restore one of the Hermitage Halls and to organize a concert tour in St. Petersburg of the Hamburg Ballet Group and the performances of German writers with our city public.
The holiday of beer will also be organized, with the participation of “Holsten” brewery.
Besides, at the cemetery of the city of Bergedorf the monument to Soviet prisoners of war will be built.
All these projects were discussed at the meeting of the Minister of Justice of Hansa City of Hamburg – Roger Kush, and the St. Petersburg vice-governor and chairman of the Committee for Foreign Affairs – Alexander Prokhoryenko.
