A Thousand cities of the World

World Premiere—“A thousand cities of the world” starts in St. Petersburg, Russia’s cultural capital soon celebrating its 300th anniversary. The premiere will pass to many and many cities on our planet.

An outstanding charity action will start on September 6 in Petrodvorets where a concert of both the World Children Choir under the aegis of UNESCO and of the academic symphony orchestra under direction of Russian people’s artist Yury Temirkanov.

For the first time, the children of all nationalities and religious confessions, united by music and love, will perform together with ten luminaries of classical opera art.

The premiere “A thousand cities of the world” supported by the chiefs of many countries will then be held in Vatican (September 8th), Washington (December 24th), London, Paris, Berlin (March of 2003), Hiroshima, Seoul, Pekin (August 2003), and will end by grandiose concert on the island of Paskha at the end of 2004. The performance will be transmitted by world leading TV Channels.
