In the beginning of October of this year Northwest branch of the Media Union plans to declare new federal competition of the journalistic works devoted to 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg. The theme of publications and plots is formulated absolutely popular - " For what I love St. Petersburg ". According to vice-president of Northwest branch of the Media Union Elena Zelinskaja, the competition should attract public attention to anniversary of the city. Results of the competition will be declared in May, ceremony of rewarding will be held in June, 1, 2003.
