International conference “Rerikh Heritage” taking place this year.

Second international scientific conference – “Rerikh Heritage” will be held in three stages: August 13 – in Tver, August 15 –17 in the village of Okulovka Novgorodskaya region, October 9 –11 in St.Petersburg.

The conference in the year of Russian orientalist Yuri Rerikh 100-anniversary.

Goals and tasks of “Rerikh Heritage” are consideration of Russia as special moral and psychological, geopolitical and cultural force on the planet, showing family of Rerikh contribution to enrichment of Russian and St.Petersburg cultural and historical traditions in view of forthcoming 300-anniversary of St.Petersburg.

The conference organizers are the St.Petersburg State University, the St.Petersburg Legislative Assembly, the Tverskaya region Legislative Assembly, Luseum-Institution of the Rerikh family in St.Petersburg, International Charity Fund “Rerikh Heritage”, the St.Petersburg administration, the administration of the town of Vyshniy Volocheyk and of the Vyshevolotsiy region, the administration of the town of Okulovka of the Novgorodsky region.
