Alexander Duma. 200th anniversary” is open in the main building of the National Library of Russia. The basis of the exposition are books – over 200 lifetime editions of Duma. The exposition includes French editions of Duma's books as well as their English, Swedish, Italiand and Polish. Besides, National Library of Russia lets its visitors have unique authographs of the writer as well as the etchings of the XIXth centiry representing heroes of Duma’s works and their prototypes. The exposition itself is only part of the cultural project dedicated to Duma. On October 23th there will be a lecture on “Duma in Russia and St. Petersburg and tomorrow there will be a lecture on “Duma in Cinematograph” with the demonstration of the French “The Three Musketeers” movie produced in 1948.
