Yuozhny has remained the only one Russian on tournament in St. Petersburg

Michael Yuozhny has remained the only representative of Russia on tennis tournament in Saint Petersburg. It became known after Marat Safin and Eugeny Kafelnikov have lost the matches of the second circle and have been out of struggle for the main trophy of competitions.

On Friday 20-year-old Michael Yuozhny will champion for a semifinal with Romanian Andrey Pavel, which at present occupies 25-th line in a rating of Association of tennis players-professionals.

Contenders only once met with each other on tennis court. It has taken place in this season on tournament in German Halle, and Michael Yuozhny has confidently won that duel /6:4,6:0/.

The match between Michael Yuozhny and Andrey Pavel is held in Spot-Concert Hall "Petersburgsky" and will begin not earlier than 19.00 Moscow time.
