Bolshoy and Mariinsky will substitute each other

The tour of Bolshoy Theatre in St.Petersburg and Mariinsky Theatre in Moscow will be hold in November. The joint tour project is an important stage of development of their relations.

On the 3d and 4th of November the Bolshoy Theatre will show the ballet "The Swan's Lake" by Peter Chaykovsky in St.Petersburg, and on the 17th and 18th of November it will perform the opera "Evgeny Onegin" by Peter Chaykovsky (director - Boris Pokrovsky, conductor - Mark Armler).

On the 3d and 4th of November the Mariinsky Theatre will present the ballet "The Sleeping Beauty" by Marius Petipa in Moscow, and on the 17th of November it will show the "Semen Kothko", the masterpiece of S.Prokofiev, and on the 18th of November the gala-concert of performers and orchestra of Mariinsky Theatre under the conduction of Valery Gergiev will take place.
