November, 12 in the Hermitage an exhibition of works of the Genoa artists has opened. It is reciprocal on an exposition from the Hermitage collection held in Genoa in March-July, 2002.

At the exhibition paintings and drawings of XVI-XVIII centuries are presented: 25 pictures from collections of Genoa museums and 15 pictorial canvases from the Hermitage collections along with 29 graphic works from the Hermitage and the Cabinet of drawings and engravings of Palace Rosso. Works of such oustanding masters as Giovanni Benedetto Castilione, Goacino Asseretto, Domenico Fiasella are exposed.

All pictures were got by the Hermitage in structure of the big collections during Ekaterina II times. Scientific employees of the State Hermitage together with the Italian colleagues have prepared the illustrated catalogue issued in Italy specially for the exhibition.
