New internet service towards St. Petersburg’s 300-anniversary celebration

The “Internet Help” company and Agency “Informational Resources” created a new service – informational reference service available over internet. The service is meant for tourists who are going to visit St. Petersburg as well as for those who want to learn more about the city’s life and sights. Now the visitors of the site may receive an answer to virtually every question by addressing his/her question to an operator-consultant at whose disposal is a large data base on St. Petersburg, i.e. sights’ detailed descriptions, plans of the city’s streets, catalogue of leisure places, timetables of the museums’ and exhibitions’ working hours and many other.

According to the project manager Alla Kholina, typically the principal difficulty for site visitors is to find the necessary information; our service makes receiving the information a rather simple procedure – all you have to do is ask your question.

To the fact that the service is oriented, first of all, on foreign visitors, its operators are fluent both in English and Russian languages.

The project’s business plan stipulates its further financing on the account of advertisement publication as well as placement of information about the interested enterprises in the data base that the operators use. The service of this kind has been organized on the Ru Net for the first time.
