An exhibition "St.Petersburg in Photographs" will be help in the State Hermitage Museum (rooms 28-32 by Saltykov Entrance) from June to October 2003.
On view will be about 650 photographs by famous Russian and European masters representing view of St.Petersburg in 1840th-1920th with architectural and sculptural monuments, many of them have been rebuilt or destroyed. The exhibition offers portraits of Russian Tsars and their family, the famous state and public figures and St.Petersburg aristocracy made by Carl Bulla, Karl Bergamasco, J. Bianki and others.
