For St. Petersburg’s 300-anniversary France aims to present our city with “Leading Light of Peace”. According to plans of author of the monument, Clara Halter, “Leading House of Peace” will represent transparent column with height of up to 30 meters and in diameter of 5 meters, signed all over the places with the word of “peace”- in many and many languages. This column will shine from inside, her top will issue pulses of red flashes symbolizing “impulses of positive energy”.
According to “Rosbalt” informational agency, there is supposition that Clara Halter will work in partnership with famous French architect Jan-Michel Vilmote and with her St. Petersburg colleagues.
The place for installation of “Leading Light of Peace” is not yet defined. As variants are considered: the Sennaya Square, or ground between “Pribaltiiskaya Hotel” and the Gulf of Finland.
