Printed from: http://petersburgcity.com/news/300/2002/08/21/kazan/ Anniversary news, 21.08.2002 12:57 Works on repair of facades in Kazanskaja street are realized to the 300-anniversary.In the framework of agreements between administrations of Saint Petersburg and Kazan about realization of the reciprocal actions concerned with a 300-anniversary of Saint Petersburg and a 1000-anniversary of Kazan, works on repair of facades of buildings in Kazanskaja street located on territory of two districts - Admiralteisky and Central are actively realized.The government of Republic Tatarstan has promised to realize works of an accomplishment of Kazanskaja street; to create “Kazan corner” in Saint Petersburg. Besides realization of works on repair of facades of buildings, in square near Kazanskaja street it is planned to open cafe of national tatar cuisine and to place new plates on houses.
