Vladimir Jakovlev: "I’ve made a request to the president of Russia. Putin has appointed working group which will work in preparation of such kind of actions. Vice-premier of the Russian Federation Valentine Matvienko has headed this group, I have directed there vice-governor Alexander Prohorenko.

Some sessions already have passed, the office for the working group is prepared. The working group since January, 2003 will learn all questions concerned with forthcoming participation in celebratory actions. I think, the problem of accommodation of simple tourists will be solved. I have addressed to rectorial staff about using some hostels. We should not forget, that we have "Dunes","White nightes" and health resorts which can be used for the period of anniversary as hotels, having organized the transport service ".
