One of the most important outcomes of St. Petersburg’s delegation trip to France became the decision of UNESCO world organization on adding St. Petersburg’s 300th anniversary celebration on the calendar of memorial and special dates for the year 2003.On this reported today at the press-conference St. Petersburg’s governor Vladimir Yakovlev.
According to the governor, in the course of the meeting in Paris with the leader from UNESCO was as well attained an agreement of cooperation on a number of joint programs for fulfillment in the framework of preparations to the city’s jubilee. One of such projects is shootage of a documentary film about St. Petersburg, which there are plans to show on TV channels in many countries.
