An order will be signed one of these days by St. Petersburg’s governor on the set up of ship-hotels due to St. Petersburg’s 300th anniversary. On this stated today St. Petersburg’s vice-governor Alexander Prokhorenko at the session of the city’s government. “About 3,000 additional hotel accomodations will be set up”, vice-governor said.
According to vice-governor, for the present moment under consideration is a question of set up of several ship-hotels that will accommodate about 3,000 persons. Prokhorenko marked that there is in St. Petersburg around 31,000 hotel places. Besides, the city administration is going to attract private and resort sectors as well as student dormitories. “The tourists must have an opportunity to visit St. Petersburg during its jubilee year even in summer time”, stated at the session Vladimir Yakovlev.
