This year will be 375 years of Yakutia’s membership in the Russian Federation. On this occasion in Moscow and St. Petersburg the Days of republic culture will be held. In our city they will open November, 2. In realization of actions 300 art workers from Yakutia will be involved. The president of republic Saha-Jakutia Vyacheslav Shtyrov will take part in commencement meeting of Days of culture.
At the meeting the question about Yakutia’s participation in celebrating of 300-anniversary of St. Petersburg was discussed. The management of the republic prepares a gift for our city and is going to open on Piskarevskoe cemetery a memorial plate to soldiers from Yakutia, lost at protection of Leningrad in the Great Domestic war.
