Finished is installation of the prince’s crowns and vases at the southern facade of the Menshikovsky Palace. This is the first step towards accomplishment of the assembly of architectural decor of the first monumental stone building of St. Petersburg which gives true representation of the first Governor of the Northern capital palace constructed before the 1730s.
The crowns and vases are made in the electrotype and planer technique, the construction of the steel frame is thoroughly padded and pasted over with glass tissue excluding copper’s contact with the frame.
